Trans­form walls and floors with these large-scale tiles by Ital­ian ce­ram­ics brand Cedit. The com­pany has been quiet for al­most two decades, hav­ing had its hey­day in the mid-20th cen­tury when it col­lab­o­rated with a host of es­teemed de­sign tal­ent in­clud­ing Marco Zanuso, Et­tore Sottsass and fa­mous broth­ers Achille and Pier Gi­a­como Castiglioni. But this year, two decades af­ter its last col­lec­tion launched, Cedit is re­leas­ing brand-new con­tem­po­rary styles.

The new tile col­lec­tion fea­tures six com­po­si­tions de­signed by some of Italy’s hottest cre­atives. ‘Ma­trice’, pic­tured above, is a de­sign by ar­chi­tec­ture duo Bar­bara Brondi & Marco Rainò: its sub­tle geo­met­ric pat­tern is rem­i­nis­cent of a her­ring­bone weave.
