3 COMPLIMENTS TO THE COOK
It’s time to embrace the feel-good effects of home cooking. Inspiring us to get creative with our food is the new range of kitchenware and, indeed, kitchenwear designed by supper club cooks Laura Jackson and Alice Levine for Habitat. The table runners, napkins, placemats and the most stylish aprons we’ve seen in a long time are all made from Khadi cloth – a loosely woven fabric hand-spun in India. The pieces are decorated with chic stripes and plentiful ‘ leek green’ British herbs that echo Jackson and Levine’s use of foliage to decorate the tables at their sell-out supper clubs. From £20 for a set of four napkins ( habitat.co.uk).
