Wallpaper and fabric brand CLJ (the name stands for the initials of its founder, Charlotte Lawson Johnston) has given the classic cane weave pattern a refresh with its ‘Slatcane’ linen collection. In pale but interesting tones of yellow, green, dusty pink and navy blue, the design has a slightly retro feel – à la famed interior designer David Hicks’ classic geometric patterns.
