Fine print Digitally printed onto cork, Anthology’s new wallpaper is inspired by the artwork of MC Escher
Further proof that cork is thoroughly back in vogue is this wallpaper, digitally printed onto the natural material synonymous with the 1970s. One of two designs released by Anthology, the tessellated pattern is inspired by the mathematical art of MC Escher (he of the famous Ascending and Descending stairs). If you look closer, you can make out the texture of this organic matter, which lends a depth that’s in keeping with the artist’s work. A natural insulator that’s excellent at absorbing sound, it’s a wonder for walls.
