Three more innovations with your wellbeing in mind

APPLE‘ SCREEN TIME ’& GOOGLE‘ DIGITAL WELL BEING’

These two tech giants have devised ways to help us manage our smartphone addictions (Google’s is not yet available on all Android devices); from setting time limits on app usage to wind-down slots before bed, they are a step in the right direction.

Created with Benjamin Hubert’s Layer studio, these concepts include (from left) ‘Grow’, a band that promotes hair growth, ‘Shot’, which makes drinks based on your vitamin needs, and de-stressing massager ‘Wave’ (panasonic.com).

‘MY SKIN TRACK’ UV SENSOR BY LA ROCHE-PO SAY

This clip-on device measures your UV exposure, providing timely warnings and skincare suggestions. A smaller version that fits on a fingernail, designed by Yves Behar, is expected later this year. £54.95, Apple (apple.com/uk).
