A LIFE IN SCULPTURE

To mark its 10th anniversary this summer, The Hepworth Wakefield is staging a spectacular tribute to the woman who started it all. ‘Barbara Hepworth: Art & Life’ will bring iconic works back to her Yorkshire birthplace, with key loans from national galleries and private collections – some of which haven’t been on display since the 1970s. Influences as diverse as music, dance, science, space exploration, politics and religion will be in focus, as will her rarely seen drawings, paintings and textile designs.
