THE SHELL SEEKERS

Arte’s latest tile collection celebrates the decorative beauty of capiz shells and takes its name from an island in the Philippines where the oysters are harvested. ‘Samal’ features four geometric tile designs that capture the shell’s translucent quality, which is similar to mother-of-pearl. The multicoloured ‘Helix’, ‘Prism’ and ‘Cubic’ designs can be used to create a striking 3D effect, while ‘Camber’ (pictured) adds delicate texture to walls.
