Eco versions have given ‘Componibili’ a sustainable future

For a company like Kartell, for which plastics are a USP, the era of sustainable design presents unique challenges. It has risen to the task, marking the 50th anniversary of the launch of ‘Componibili’ with eco versions that point the way to a new future. ‘Componibili Bio’ (2019; left) is made from agricultural waste transformed into a next-generation bioplastic, while ‘Componibili Recycled’ (2020; below) is made of recycled industrial materials and has a soft-touch matt finish.
