Having started as an interior design practice, London-based Sella Concept is branching out into the realms of furniture. Its latest design is the ‘Pontem’ dining table – just the second piece in the firm’s collection following 2019’s shapely ‘Ladies Ponds’ stool. Taking its name from the Latin word for ‘bridge’, its solid oak arched supports echo that of viaducts, while a textured veneered top appears to float above. £9,000 (sella-concept.com).
