‘For over 100 years, D.R. Harris’s

‘Original Pick-Me-Up’ was a popular tonic for the bibulous folk of St James’s, who swore by it as a hangover cure. It’s said to have been a favourite of Oscar Wilde and was served in Dr Harris’s St James’s Street shop, until the early 2000s when it was discontinued. The original recipe has now been reimagined as Cocktail Bitters. So complex and appetising are its botanical flavours that just a few dashes can transform a classic cocktail into something multi-layered and rich.’ ANTONINO LO LACONO, BAR MANAGER, LE MAGRITTE
