POWER OF PLAY
In 1968, modernist architect Lina Bo Bardi unveiled a design for a fantastical playground to be built outside her most famous building, the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP). More than 50 years later, Turner Prizewinning architecture collective Assemble is installing two of Bo Bardi’s play sculptures here in the UK, along with a third designed with local children. These sculptures will encourage visitors to lose their inhibitions at Nottingham Contemporary. Assemble + Schools of Tomorrow is open from 7 May – 4 September (nottinghamcontemporary.org).
