The second Fiskars Village Art & Design Biennale (22 May– 4 September) invites you to western Finland, where you’ll be encouraged to consider new ideas at the intersection of art, design and architecture. One of the most immersive elements of the 2022 programme is ‘House by an Architect’, which displays eight small wooden structures designed by leading industry names. The innovative eco houses are sited in a meadow by an oak forest, and guests can stay overnight, or even buy them, too, with prices ranging from around £40,000 to £125,000 ( fiskarsvillagebiennale.com).
