THE LOCATION BY THE

SEA

You only need to walk a few minutes from the house to find pebbly coves with the clearest water, and it’s just a further few minutes south to Kassiopi’s small, buzzy harbour. Take a sea taxi, or your own boat, to Agni’s seafront tavernas and play ‘spot the superyacht’. And don’t miss Aghios Arsenios,

a tiny church a five-minute boat ride

further south.

THE FOOD SEA TO TABLE

Order fish first thing from nearby Nikos supermarket and pick it up later, fresh from the fishermen, to grill on the barbecue,

or have a chef cook a feast for you (from £8O for four). Kassiopi has plenty of waterfront restaurants,

or drive to the onceabandoned village of Old Perithia, where Foros Taverna serves rabbit stew under

the oak trees.
