Why did you create Umay?

I saw a gap in the market where there were a lot of affordable clothes and fast fashion but they lacked quality. There was a lack of service for fashion forward clients in the industry.

Being a busy working mother like many women in this day and age, I wanted to have access to affordable clothing that is made with the highest quality. The pieces under Umay are on trend, made in Italy and give clients access to celebrity stylists. I am a stylist myself and I wanted to bring that service to busy mums and working professionals that don’t have the time to shop and put together current looks and styles. In Nomadic mythology, Umay is the goddess of fertility that supports women by giving them strength when they give birth or are on the battlefield.

What makes Umay different from other brands?

Online shopping mixed with the personal styling experience.

With Umay you can have edited looks by celebrity stylists created or you can create your own style. I wanted Umay to be a brand for real women that represents inclusivity.
