LENA DE CASPARIS
‘Aged 16, I walked out of school to protest against the Iraq War, and realised for the first time that if I wasn’t happy with politics, I needed to personally get involved and do something about it,’ says Lena, ELLE’s associate editor/culture director. She has gone from working in politics (as a researcher for an MP), to mingling with Beyoncé, Zayn Malik and Miley Cyrus, to teaching her daughter Roma to blow kisses on demand. She writes about the female politicians running as they are on page 88.
