VICTOR DEMARCHELIER

Born and raised in New York, Victor Demarchelier learned the art of photography through his father, the legendary Patrick Demarchelier. Victor has since gone on to capture the likes of Nicole Kidman, Selena Gomez and Naomi Watts. He photographs our Urban Cowgirl shoot on page 1O8. What’s your biggest fashion secret? ‘I wear high Nike socks all the time, with every suit.’ What was the first item of clothing that made

an impact on you? ‘Growing up my whole family was New York Knicks obsessed. My brothers and I got the same pair of Jordans at the same time so that we wouldn’t fight.’
