Take your cue from the catwalk and thread pearls into your braids for a modern yet elegant finish

No longer reserved for Sloanes, pearls were given a modern makeover this season at Andrew Gn, where stylists threaded them into crisp cornrows to create a halo effect. Make-up was minimal (a glowing complexion and smudgy eye) to keep the look on the fresher side of fancy. For everyday styling, try adding a pearl-adorned hair grip to roughly textured plaits. The key is to avoid anything too ‘pony club’.
