Does sex still sell in 2O2O? Hell yes. Sex And Lies (out 2O February) is the latest novel by Adèle author Leila Slimani, who moves beyond her usual territory of sex addicts and murderous nannies and instead sets her literary sights on sexual politics in Morocco. Meanwhile, Neflix’s much-loved Sex Education returns on 17 January with part two of the drama that broke boundaries by addressing revenge porn and abortion with groundbreaking humour. On the runways, SS2O collections from Gucci, Tom Ford, Mugler and Christopher Kane put sex front and centre, turning lingerie, bras, corsetry and all forms of underwear into outerwear. While at London’s Tate Britain gallery, see eroticism through a 19th-century lens with Aubrey Beardsley’s risqué black and white drawings (4 March to 25 May).
