A MODERN TWIST
Emulate the face-framing braids seen on the spring runways with these simple styling tricks
A pair of plaits doesn’t have to be schoolgirlish, as proved by Guido Palau, who created these soft, textured braids for Dior. Palau’s intention was to give the models ‘a youthful naïveté and slightly romantic feel’. To get the look, prep hair with texturising spray and part in the middle. Then, working with one side at a time, pull hair forwards and plait close to the hairline to frame the face.
