WHEN SMALL-TIME thief Sean (Misfits’ Sheehan) breaks into the home of rich douchebag Cale (Tennant), he winds up with more than he burgled for — finding a terrified woman (Condon) chained up in a dungeon next to a kill room. Sean fudges his attempt to rescue her, and when Cale finds out about his intruder, he comes for Sean and his loved ones with extreme prejudice. dean devlin bounces back from the Geostorm fiasco with a tight, twisty little thriller let down only by a few plot contrivances. Sheehan is good as the bungling burglar, while Tennant attacks the role of Cale with even more sadistic relish than he brought to Jessica Jones’ nemesis.
