Cathey Muller Abbie Cornish

Who? A doctor specialising in infectious diseases and Ryan’s future wife, although not married here — they meet for the first time at a party before a helicopter whisks Ryan away on a top secret mission. Previously played by: Gates Mcfadden, Anne Archer, Bridget Moynahan, Keira Knightley

Suleiman Ali Suliman

Who? The terrorist Ryan and Greer are chasing. Ryan even goes as far as to dub him the new Bin Laden. He’s well-funded, well-protected, and has good reason to hate the United States.
