I was stunned and bewildered at your Peter Jackson Top Ten. You don’t have to be a film critic to appreciate that The Frighteners is easily his best film no matter what criteria you apply, and it’s not even on the list. Shame on you! Keep up the good work (generally), though.

Chris Hewitt replies: My bad entirely. The Rankers loved this film, and it got enough votes to finish fifth. But when I was compiling the Top Ten, I forgot to actually put it in there. Oops! So here is the bit we should have printed last month. Cut out and stick it where you like. Perhaps over a Hobbit.
