BLIND FURY
Star Charlie Cox discusses his darkest turn as Daredevil yet
ON… SEASON 3’S RETURN TO FORM
“Well, it depends what people mean by ‘form’. I think the tone of it certainly feels more like Season 1. I enjoyed the way Season 2 touched on the mythology of the comic books, with ancient cultures that can go invisible and bring people back from the dead. But now it’s nice to go back to the psychological-thriller aspect of Daredevil, with more boots-on-theground-type storylines.”
ON… THE RETURN OF WILSON FISK
“We are very lucky to have Vincent [D’onofrio] in this show. The fact we got him for one season is one thing, but the fact he was willing to come back for Season 2 and now be in every episode of Season 3 is such an asset. He elevates the show.”
ON… NEW VILLAIN BULLSEYE
“It’s a brilliantly constructed origin story. He starts off as one of the good guys, an incredibly well respected sharpshooter for the FBI. But Wilson Fisk finds a way of cleverly manipulating him and turning him into an asset of his own. It’s a wonderful part for an actor, and Wilson Bethel is fantastic in the role. Watching that transformation on set was really thrilling.”
ON… CROSSING OVER WITH THE MCU
“Do half the characters turn to dust during Season 3? It’s tricky to answer. The truth is, we’re imagining this season of Daredevil happens pre- the click of the fingers. So we don’t have to answer that question! I would love Daredevil to join the fight against Thanos; for all us Marvelnetflix guys to be included. But my understanding is there’s no plan to do that. Yet.” DAN JOLIN
