__ The film’s first half sees Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire Dearing head back to Isla Nublar, the original Park, to save dinosaurs before a volcano destroys it. At one point, Owen is paralysed as lava quickly surrounds him. “The movie takes an Indiana Jones tone,” says Bayona. The lava is CG, but real fire was used on set. “We had a carpet of fire,” he says. “It was for the reflections in his eyes.”
