Disney+ gets a whole lot bigger
With the arrival of STAR, the streaming service is evolving and expanding with even more thrilling TV series and movies
OVER THE PAST YEAR, Disney+ has brought blockbuster movies, family-friendly entertainment and epic adventures right into living rooms across the UK and beyond. And now, it’s about to get even bigger and better — with tons of TV series, movies and originals about to join the service.
Get ready to say hello to Star — soon to sit alongside Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic on the Disney+ home screen. It’s a whole new brand, playing host to hundreds of daring, surprising and thrilling stories beaming directly onto a screen near you, from old favourites to must-see, brandnew original series. From 23 February, Star on Disney+ will offer a massive variety of fresh content for grown-up viewers, with captivating storytelling, huge laughs and gripping mysteries that’ll keep you hooked long after any younger viewers have gone to bed.
And speaking of younger viewers, parents can have peace of mind that a whole new set of parental controls will be rolling out too, with access limits and Pin-locked profiles meaning prying eyes can’t stumble onto anything they’re not quite ready for yet.
When Star launches on Disney+, over
75 TV series, more than 270 movies and a slate of four exclusive Star Originals will all be just a click away, offering you an even greater array of choice. And that’s not all. Every week will bring the arrival of more shows, more movies, and more surprises — from beloved bingeworthy favourites and cinema classics, to cuttingedge exclusives you won’t see anywhere else.
