Get your priorities in order (match your socks to your trainers)
We live in a world of uncertainty. All the more reason to make sure your socks match your shoes. Because otherwise: anarchy. Enter Nike’s Element React 87, a high-tech running shoe that sells out in seconds and comes with an upper that, by some kind of Silicon Valley magic, takes on the colour of your socks. Other examples can be found by Fendi (with PVC panels), and the snappily named Raf Simons x Adidas Ozweego Replicant collaboration, which is packaged with special socks designed to be worn with the shoes. Only one problem: shouldn’t socks match trousers, too?
