Beef up your crockery
Roman & Williams are an American design duo who give the readers of The World of Interiors sweaty palms. Their projects include an art deco hotel in Miami with bedrooms kitted out with bunk beds, moveable ladders and Afghan throws; a nightclub on the 18th floor of a building on New York’s High Line designed “as though guests are in a shimmering treetop overlooking the city”; and a house for Gwyneth Paltrow. They are maximalists but tasteful with it. Thanks to the Roman & Williams Guild, a shoppable edit of the couple’s approved homeware (Danish ceramic bowls, Japanese lacquered plates) you can pimp a little of their style for your own property, too. romanandwilliams.com
