Sunspel’s Q82, a classic crew-neck, first appeared in the Fifties, around the time Marlon Brando indelibly sealed the T-shirt into the world’ s collective fantasy life in A Street car Named Desire. Today's Q82 is close to facsimile of the Fifties original, cut from “Quality 82” jersey woven from long-staple cotton picked by hand to guarantee the highest quality. The cotton is combed, twisted, scorched and double-spun, then knitted on a circular machine that uses blowers to remove loose fibres and ensure a flawless finish. The result is imperiousl­y soft, strong, lightweigh­t and comfortabl­e, and forms the best T-shirt money can buy. Seekers of perfection, look no further.
