Braintree Arts Theatre, Not­ley Road, Braintree CM7 1WY Dan­son Thun­der­bolt is no or­di­nary dad and his teenage son Luke is autis­tic. The Autis­tic Shadow gets be­tween them ev­ery sin­gle day, mak­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tion and their re­la­tion­ship a strug­gle.

Join them in a real wrestling ring as The Thun­der­bolt bat­tles The Shadow in a fight to the fin­ish as he tries to main­tain con­tact with Luke while the Ref tries to keep con­trol. Funny, poignant and real, this play is adapted from the blog Liv­ing with Luke and fuses wrestling and theatre to show what life is like liv­ing with an autis­tic child.
