Finally our producer Flood said if those vocals sounded better we would just keep them.” Glasvegas return to the Granite City after a near three year absence. Since their last appearance in Aberdeen they have been elevated to one of Britain’s most popular and critically- acclaimed rock acts. And new drummer Jonna, who officially joined last December, will provide the beating heart of their euphoric songs. “Jonna quickly fitted into the band both musically and as a friend,” he said. “Caroline was amazing at what she did and was electric. But Jonna is so solid she will be spot on with every beat so if we make a mistake no-one notices.” And the band are looking forward to playing again in the Granite City. “We have been working on our set down in London and we sound great. “Aberdeen is always a city we have enjoyed playing. For some reason they seem to get what we are about up there.”
