Time to cut loose down in the cellar
SATURDAY sees the launch of brand new clubnight Loosen Up at Cellar 35. The monthly event is designed for music fans and will take in a great eclectic selection of tunes, old and new. And at the helm will be none other than Little Kicks frontman Steven Milne, the DJ behind Snafu’s indie disco night The Dirty Hearts Club. You can expect to hear good indie, disco, electro, classics, random 45s, public requests and a little bit of punk and funk thrown in for good measure. And when it comes to artists, the playlist will feature such diverse acts as Foals, The Beach Boys, Rod Stewart, The Sugarhill Gang and Fleetwood Mac. You can even make sure your favourite artist and tracks get played on the night by e-mailing your requests to stevenmilne82 @hotmail.com Or, why not bring along a CD or vinyl on the night and Steven will do his utmost to play it for you? Keep an eye out for forthcoming nights, as a number of live gigs are planned for Loosen Up. Don’t miss Loosen Up at Cellar 35, Rosemount Viaduct from 9pm.
