Banffshire History Festival featuring medieval re-enactment, talks, demonstrations, local history stalls, Banff Castle Pipe Band, contemporary craft fair and lots more, 10am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday. CLASSIC AND VINTAGE GATHERING
Featuring pre-1990 cars, commercials and motor cycles, Grampian Transport Museum, Alford, traditional rally, 12.30pm to 4.30pm Sunday. See the latest arrivals at Willows Animal Sanctuary, by Strichen, 11am to 5pm Saturday. Mill of Benholm, by Inverbervie, a wide range of stalls, family events, crafts, and musical entertainment, 10am to 4pm Saturday. Spend the afternoon with RSPB staff at Troup Head – Scotland’s only mainland gannet colony and you might even spot a bottlenose dolphin in the bay, 2pm to 5pm Sunday.
WOODLANDS AND WILD FLOWERS
