Crews called to three-car crash

THREE cars were in­volved in a smash on the A90 to­day. The crash hap­pened at about 8.10am on the north­bound side of the road be­tween Portlethen and New­ton­hill. It in­volved a red Ford Ka, sil­ver Ford Fo­cus and black Volk­swa­gen Up. Po­lice Scot­land and the Scot­tish Am­bu­lance Ser­vice were both called to the scene. It is un­der­stood no one was se­ri­ously hurt. In a sep­a­rate in­ci­dent, a ve­hi­cle landed on its roof. The crash hap­pened on an un­named road at Peathill, near Fraser­burgh, that joins up with the B9032. A spokesman for Po­lice Scot­land said: “We re­ceived the call at 6.43am. “A ve­hi­cle has ended up on its roof and both the am­bu­lance ser­vice and fire crews were in at­ten­dance. “There doesn’t ap­pear to be any in­juries.”
