Unpaid work over assaults
A MAN has been handed unpaid work after assaulting three people. Adam Drummond, 32, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court for sentencing having previously pled guilty to three assaults on July 19 at Market Square in Stonehaven. Fiscal depute Gavin Letford said at 2.20am Drummond approached two women and a man and “swung a closed fist”, failing to connect with two of them but hitting one woman in the jaw. Defence agent Ross Taggart said the complainers had been involved in an incident with Drummond’s partner. Sheriff Graham Buchanan gave Drummond, of Brickfield Road, Stonehaven, 210 hours of unpaid work.
