Appeal for missing Benjamin

Evening Express (City Final) - - News -

POLICE Scotland has renewed its appeal for information to help trace a man missing from the north-east. Officers are asking members of the public for any information on the where-abouts of Benjamin Anum, 48, who has last seen at around 9am on Christmas Eve. A public appeal was launched on December 31, a week after he was last spotted. Mr Anum, who was employed in the fishing industry, was last seen near the Bayview Hotel, on Macduff’s Shore Street. It is believed that his intentions were to travel to Peterhead, but he has failed to make contact there. He is described as being of Guinean origin, 5ft 6in and of a medium build. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.” When calling with information, callers should quote incident number PS-20181227-1626, or ask to speak to any police officer.
