Mystery of partially-clothed teenager
DETECTIVES were investigating today after a partially-clothed woman was found in an Aberdeen street.
The 19-year-old, found in a “confused state” on King Street, was missing some of her clothes.
Today police stressed the circumstances of t he i ncident were not clear, investigations were at family and friends and from Richard’s family who have really been wonderful.”
The pilots were among 16 men killed when the Bond-operated Super Puma helicopter – Flight 85N – suffered catastrophic gearbox failure in April 2009.
They had been returning from BP’s Miller platform when the aircraft crashed into the North Sea, off Peterhead. an early stage and there was no indication any crime had been committed.
A Grampian Police spokesman said: “Officers are making inquiries into an incident in the Linksfield area of Aberdeen, after a 19-year-old woman was found in a confused state by a member of the public.
“Officers were called around 2.10am yesterday to assist the woman, who was seen walking partially-clothed along King Street.”
Det Insp Richie Guild said: “Early indications are that she had also been on Linksfield Place and Linksfield Gardens and we would appeal for anyone who may have seen her in the area to come forward.”
