300 homes affected by power cut
PLANS have been put in for a major North-east flood defence scheme.
Aberdeenshire Council wants to protect Huntly by building defences around the north of the Meadows in the town.
Councillors on Marr area committee will make a decision on the planning application in the coming weeks. A POWER cut knocked out electricity to 300 properties in the Rosehill area of Aberdeen yesterday.
Between 1pm and 2.50pm a problem with a transformer caused the loss of power to homes and businesses.
A Scottish Southern Electric spokeswoman apologised to customers for the inconvenience.
