On a coastline far away, beloved London design duo and Central Saint Martins alumni Marques’Almeida are presenting a pre-AW22 runway show this Thursday at 6.30pm via film. Shot in Portugal, home of Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida, the film captures a catwalk set against the backdrop of the ocean, with clothes in bubblegum and citrus shades (and garments crafted from the label’s signature frayed denim, of course). The collection continues the brand’s commitment to improving its manufacturing and sourcing techniques and includes exclusive pieces from its M’akers project, an initiative to support local artisans.
