‘This summer’s nail trend — and my most requested design at the moment — is micro nail art. It can be anything from a tiny red apple for a trip to NYC to an initial or a love heart. I suggest painting it on one finger — most people prefer the thumb. The key is to keep it small, so it’s just a cute pop of colour on a sheer pink or nude base. Use a dotting tool and a tiny paintbrush to create the design. You can form almost any shape from a single dot. Then join and shape using the tool and brush.’
