David O Russell, eh? Where’s he been? American Hustle was ages ago. Nine years ago to be exact. He had Joy in 2015, but yeah, it has been a while. Maybe because there were lots of not-nice reports about his on-set behaviour, Hollywood needed to decide whether it was still okay to work with him.
