AFTER DARK
Guys, guys, guys. It’s not that we go around London party to party asking our tablemates their ultimate karaoke song. But it it’s a great icebreaker, especially when they’re the star of the West End’s Moulin Rouge. So up this week is actor Jamie Muscato, who was at a bash thrown my Omega in a secret London locale (obvs) to celebrate 60 years of James Bond and two new Seamaster Diver 300M watches. His choice? ‘“Bohemian Rhapsody”, it’s great for vocal exercises.’ How was his stint as Christian? ‘There was a night during the scene when Satine dies, I’m at the front of the stage — a women had drunk too much and was being sick into her handbag.’ Cripes. Sorry about that.
Next up, the inaugural Award for Services to Partying (TM) goes to our very own Susie Lau, who just weeks after giving birth to her second child (congrats again, btw) was back out for the Miu Miu party in the skirt of the season. Kudos.
Last but not least, to Mark’s Club for its 50th anniversary. Bianca Jagger tucked herself away upstairs but we managed to get close by intercepting her special order of shepherds pie. ‘I wanted to celebrate the old days,’ she told us. If you’re going to try to nick anyone’s pie it may as well be a living legend’s.
