VIRTUAL ASSISTANT

-

It would be cool if this was a little hologram person called Chip who happily did all your little online daily tasks for you, like diagnose your minor ailments as cancer, but actually human people do this job. A quick google — which really ‘Chip’ should be doing for me — reveals a virtual assistant is ‘an independent contractor who provides administrative services to clients while operating outside of the client’s office’. Tragically, despite working remotely, virtual assistants are still chatted up by bosses called Mike. Mike sometimes thinks his virtual assistant might be a bot, but he doesn’t mind and actually prefers it that way because if he talks dirty to it one day, it won’t tell anyone.
