THE organiser of a party in a quiet Surrey village where a reveller was shot dead today told of the “frightening chaos” in the moments after the gun was fired.

Summerlyn Farquharson said there was a fun part y atmosphere until around 2am when the crowd at the £1 million bungalow in Headley became “unruly”. The mother-of-one, who rents the property, said she had left the pool area — where around 400 revellers had gathered — to get the security guard she had hired. After she left, she heard gunfire.

“Before the shooting everything was nice and then it was chaos,” she said. “We have never had problems before and we have done the party on a yearly basis.

“At about two o’clock the crowd was getting unruly, I am not sure if it was the alcohol but by the time I got to the security I heard a gunshot, I saw people running, people were trying to get into the house.

“People weren’t allowed in the house as it was a pool party but they were banging on the door.”

Ms Farquharson, 30, who goes by the name “The Female Boss Krissy”, organised the event on Sunday with her boyfriend, reggae dance hall artist Braintear Spookie, 21

She added: “I opened the door to let Spookie in, people were shouting to call the police, saying someone was shot, so I called the police and locked us in.

“We don’t know who was shot, we don’t know why it happened... we have no clue, we don’t know who it is.”

Detectives were today continuing to question two people arrested after the victim, a 34-year-old man, was shot dead and a 36-year-old woman suffered a bullet wound to her leg.

Surrey Police said one had been arrested on suspicion of murder and the second on suspicion of assisting an offender, but the gun used in the shooting had not yet been recovered.

The f o r c e ’s chief inspector of operations, Mark Preston, told the Standard the victim was from London and he said the shooting was likely to be gangrelated. He added: “It wouldn’t surprise me if there are more arrests, but it’s my understanding that would be for assisting an offender. The vast majority of people at the party we know are from London.” Braintear Spookie, whose real name is Jason White, said: “I heard gunshots go off and then I ran inside the house. “Everybody was shouting ‘call the police, call the police’ while others were screaming ‘a man is dead, a man is dead’.” Neighbours yesterday said the house hosted an annual party “for swingers”. Ms Farquharson said there had been a b u s ive m e s s a ge s following the attack.

“It was frightening and damaging to Spookie’s career, getting all this bad publicity,” she said.

“It was an innocent party, it was not a sex party. Spookie was going to showcase some of his material but because of the chaos that didn’t happen. We never planned for this to happen.”

It is understood suspects took off in a black and white Mini at 2. 30am yesterday after the drama at the £20a-head private party.

Guests said t he v i c t i m was sh ot through the chest and shoulder in the back garden, which was packed with hundreds of other revellers.

Matthew Ralph, whose father Grahame owns the mansion, said his bed-bound father was unable to talk due to bad health.

Speaking on his father’s behalf, he said: “The first thing we saw was when a couple of friends emailed us links to news stories.

“We have not been contacted by the police. When we heard, we just thought ‘oh my God’ — we couldn’t believe it.”

It was the third time Ms Farquharson had held the event after she was given a temporary licence for it by the local council.
