Post-Brexit vote growth is ‘faster than thought’

BRITAIN’S economy grew faster than thought after the Brexit vote, official figures revealed today.

Growth was 0.7 per cent in the final three months of 2016, 0.1 per cent higher than thought, said the Office for National Statistics. But “a slowdown within business investment” suggests bosses think the Brexit boom is ending.
