One baby and a billion dollars: Kylie by numbers
ON Sunday evening Kylie Jenner took a tip from her big sister Kim and #broketheinternet. The youngest KardashianJenner had been quiet on social media for months — almost nine, in fact — and her followers were demanding an answer on whether or not she was expecting boyfriend Travis Scott’s baby. The rumours had been insistent but remained unconfirmed by everyone within the usually loquacious Kardashian klan.
At the weekend, circa 9pm UK time, she revealed the baby, a girl, had been born on February 1. Jenner shared the news with a link to an 11-minute mini-documentary about the past nine months, shot in a homevideo style that couldn’t dull the Kardashian gloss (Calabasas mansions; closets lined with designer baby trainers; Kim Kardashian).
Meanwhile, there’s no news on Kylie’s mat leave, though she can definitely afford a break: yesterday, it was announced that the youngest sibling is the richest of them all. Her beauty line, Kylie Cosmetics (kosmetics?), is worth $386 million; it’s projected the company will be worth $1 billion by 2022. It’s possible that she will own us all by then.
