Man in court over crossbow killing

A MAN accused of killing his pregnant ex-wife with a crossbow was remanded in custody at Pentonville prison today.

Ramanodge Unmathallegadoo, 50, of no fixed address, appeared at the Old Bailey charged with the murder of Sana Muhammad, 35. She was shot in front of her five children at her home in Ilford on Monday. Medics delivered her baby boy, Ibrahim, who is “stable”. No pleas were taken. Judge Nicholas Hilliard QC fixed a preliminary trial date for April.
