BOOK MINIBUS LIKE AN UBER IN SECOND BOROUGH

AN Uber-style bus service that lets passengers book via an app is set to be launched in a second London borough.

Transport for London believes the on-demand minibus service earmarked for Ealing could encourage motorists to leave their cars at home. A four-week consultation on launching it began today, after a similar scheme started in Sutton in May.

The seven-day 6am-1am service, using 10 minibuses, will call at predesignated stops, with fares at £3.50.
