And relax … artwork on tour takes a break by Mount Fuji

-

A GIANT sculpture by New York street artist Kaws has appeared at a campsite in front of Mount Fuji.

Over the past few months, the 40-metre figure — which represents Kaws’s signature Companion character — has traveled to locations around the world, including

Taiwan, South Korea and Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour. “Kaws: Holiday” will be on show near the Japanese volcano until next Wednesday before resuming its tour.

Kaws, real name Brian Donnelly, has become one of the most sought-after artists at international

fairs.
