Is Trump just fair game in BBC row?

FOLLOWING your correspondent’s letter (October 2) supporting Naga Munchetty’s comments about racism and Donald Trump on air, I wonder if the same support would have been given if the broadcaster had criticised one of our own politicians, concerning, for instance, anti-Semitism and accusations against Labour Party members.

Was there more support for Naga Munchetty because Donald Trump is fair game, as was seen when he came to London on a state visit and was received by the Queen?
