‘Jet lag cure that beats flight fatigue with hydration’
A TV chef and a scientist claim to have created a jet lag “cure”.
My Flight Pack, by Hannah Grant and nutrition expert Dr Stacy Sims, is being tested by
NFL stars. Passengers take a pre-flight hydration formula, then a hydrating, calming mix to aid sleep. After landing, they take a mix including proteins and adaptogens such as ginseng to re-energize. In a test, 20 male runners spent seven hours in a pressurised chamber. Some took My Flight Pack and others placebos.
“No symptoms of fatigue or headaches were reported in subjects using the system,” said the study, verified by New Zealand’s Waikato University.
